The L.C. Baxter Medical
Library workstations are provided to support research, teaching, patient care, and hospital administrative needs of Tulsa
Regional Medical Center. Use of computer workstations is limited to hospital employees, physicians, and residents,
interns, or medical students completing medical education at TRMC.
The
library reserves the right to displace patrons from workstations when they are needed for primary users or when the workstations
are not being used to locate health or academic information.
Appropriate use of workstations
includes:

Searching biomedical or
health-related databases
-
Searching the Internet
for health or hospital administration related topics
-
Other academic research
directly related to hospital or medical education functions.

Creating presentations,
research papers, or other documents directly related to hospital or medical education functions.
Misuse includes,
but is not limited to, the activities in the following list:

Performing departmental
tasks.

Checking E-mail.
-
Displaying, printing,
transmitting pornography.

Playing games.
-
Downloading media files
(music) that are not medically related.

Modification of workstation
data files, software, or equipment.
-
Attaching any personal
computer peripherals to the Library's computers
-
Installation of personal
software programs.
-
Removal
of any computer or component from the computer room.
