The L.C. Baxter Medical Library is named in honor of L.C. Baxter - OSUMC (then Okahoma Osteopathic Hospital) Administrator from 1953 to 1973.  His portrait and a plaque in his memory adorns the entrance to the library.

Mission and Purpose

The library and staff are available as an information resource to medical staff, health care professionals, and patients for training support, management needs, and enhanced patient care at
OSUMC.

The medical library actively supports medical education at OSUMC by providing information resources and services for those completing intern and residency programs and for medical students during rotations.
